M 43 custom Austrian made Einheirsfeldmuetze fuer Panzertruppe. The hat was found in the veterans family with other SS Panzer stuff. It seems that the hat had the SS metallic skull on it, which makes the clear trace on the material. The hat has cardboard inside, to keep its shape.More
