| Original Wehrmacht re-issued M18 cut-out steel helmet. This is extremely rare helmet which has a couple of layers of paint, first is original apple-green paint, and the second is rough textured paint. Each layer of paint has a decal. The left ventilation "horn" is looks like re-attached by depot workshop. Underneath of a decal is visible first factory or depot applied decal, looks like ET type, over is the Strache type decal, which is seen mostly on the re-issued helmets. The helmet is well marked ET 64 and dome steel stamp is S 13 45 N, but not a clear visible first digits. Liner is with steel ring as normal for after 1940 year production. Leather part is a little bid cracked and some part is darkened due of age. Still nice and good condition. |
