This fine album, subtitled "Bilder aus dem Leben des Führers" or "pictures of the life of the Fuehrer", was published 1936 from the Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Hamburg-Bahrenfeld in Germany and is in very good condition. This fantastic album is complete with no pages missing or with any other damage, the size is 9-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches and it has 1 3 5 (!) heavy material pages with 2 5 6 (!!) photo-like pictures (many of them full or half page size !!!) pasted into the text! The Shooting lanyard was issued to distinguish a bearer with the shooting experience. The design consisted of a shield with an eagle in the center. The award may have been earned more than one time. Instead of issuing another lanyard the present one would be adorned with acorns. One per instance. 	M 16 Imperail German steel helmet	M 16 Imperail German steel helmet. Sand painted for Expeditionary corps in China or for colonial troops. Found in the old barn near the Belgian-French border, looks a battle damaged. The leather part of the liner is missed, chinstraps are present but dried . 	Irish Army 1927 pattern German style Vickers Helmet	Irish Army 1927 pattern German style Vickers Helmet complete with sniper shield attachment lugs. Rather than adopt the British helmet which would have had bad memories for many people in Ireland as it had only been 4 years since the War Of Independence, it was decided to go for something different. The first helmets bought for trials were of the French Adrian pattern but these proved to be unsuitable. The Ministry of Defense then decided to investigate the possibility of something similar to the German-style helmet of the Great War which had been shown to offer superior protection to troops and the German consulate was approached. Due to the restrictions imposed by the Versailles treaty, Germany was not allowed to export military items, including helmets. The British government was then approached and they gave the contract to the Vickers company. Vickers produced a design which was almost identical to the WW1 German M1916 pattern and in all, only 10.021 helmets were made!!
